Dan Mihalascu is a daily news writer at InsideEVs with 20 years of automotive and motorsport media experience. A Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu alumnus with a master’s degree in journalism, Dan has been driving and writing about cars ever since graduation, and he doesn’t see that stopping too soon.
Prior to joining the InsideEVs team in July 2021, he worked as a news editor at Carscoops, DriveMag and Autoevolution, in addition to writing gigs at several online and print media outlets in Romania. He has been driving a 2008 VW Golf GTI since... 2008. And while he is aware that electrification is the future, he is just waiting for the first true electric hot hatch to arrive – and the EV infrastructure in Romania to develop.
